My Dream Destination: The Republic of Sakha, Russia
Doroobo! Since I was a teenager, my dream was to visit my top favourite Russian republics: the republic of Sakha was one of them. As I began to make progress in my Russian language skills, I started to delve deep into the authentic Russian culture, as well as some of the different ethnic groups that reside in Russia. Asides from the Sakha people of far eastern Siberia, a few ethnic groups that live in Russia are the Ingush, Chechens, Nogai, Kalmyks and the Dagestanis of the North Caucasus.

The Pink Cave
Home is my safe haven, even if I am the type of person that loves being out and about. Since my apartment is massive, there are a couple of places that I consider my “cozy corners”. My bedroom would have to be my “favourite and most used” cozy corner, because of my bed, cute decorations, sapphire blue curtains, computer, walk-in closet and miniature library.

2021: The Year of Maturation and Fulfillment
Tell me about it! It's been a challenging year for all of us, including someone who struggles with mental health issues and Autism like myself. Although our experiences and thoughts about the pandemic have been different, it didn't liberate us from the raw emotions that we felt internally.

My Stay Home and Tune Out Playlist
Hello my friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families and are still managing to get through this tough time! To cheer all of you up, I have many songs that I enjoyed, listened to and randomly discovered that were released in 2020 and I would love to share them with you. Music was my primary source of survival, in addition to books, puzzles, fitness, people, therapy, and other things that gave me a sense of purpose, fulfillment and wellbeing. Many of the songs I listened to were in English, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, but I also listened to quite a few in other languages such as Turkish. The genres that were on my Stay at Home and Tune Out playlist included classic rock, indie, EDM, D and B, Jpop, Mandopop, world, spiritual/new age and hip-hop. I even managed to make my own music using Groovepad, because I felt this was an awesome chance for me to branch out into other creative hobbies like creating instrumental music.

My Dream Destination: the Philippines
Forever and ever, there was another place in Asia that I had the desire to visit: the Philippines. Throughout my life, I lived in neighbourhoods where Filipino immigrants resided and worked as nurses, nannies, personal care attendants, cashiers, food service workers and operated their own Filipino supermarkets. I also went to school and made friends with several Filipino children during my youth that I still keep in touch with in my adulthood. By hearing them speak Tagalog, eating their national foods, visiting a bunch of Filipino stores in my area, watching Filipino TV shows like Wowowee as a child, listening to Filipino music, and learning about their culture, I gradually developed an interest to tour the Philippines in the future. It became a dream that I refused to relinquish.

My Dream Destination: Kyrgyzstan
I have been dreaming of taking a trip to Kyrgyzstan since the winter of 2019, after watching a documentary about Bride Kidnapping on YouTube, one winter evening at home. I have also had some encounters with Kyrgyz students throughout the youth, so I am keen on learning more about the culture, the food, the language, the people and what Kyrgyzstan has to offer for tourists.
