Bill Gates: From Tech Dreamer to World Helper
William Henry Gates III, mostly known as Bill Gates, is a person who changed the world with computer technology. He changed how many people work as a co-founder of Microsoft, but he also helped a lot with his charity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which focuses on health, education, and fighting poverty. His life is a big inspiration, showing a great mix of tech ideas and helping people. Childhood and Early Learning: Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington, on October 28, 1955. His dad, William H. Gates Sr., was a successful lawyer, and his mom, Mary Maxwell Gates, was a school teacher and did a lot of good in the community. Gates's family thought learning was very important and encouraged him to follow what he liked. Even when he was little, Gates was curious and smart. He started reading at a young age and was always interested in learning new things. When he went to Lakeside School, he got interested in computers. The school bought a computer terminal, and Gates learned the basics of programming there. It was also at this time that he became friends with Paul Allen, who later became his partner in starting Microsoft. At Lakeside, Gates and Allen found ways to use the school's computer even when they weren't supposed to, spending a lot of time with it. They made small programs together and started to see the big possibilities of computers. Gates began to have grand visions of computer technology at that point. The Early Days of Microsoft and Harvard: In 1973, Gates went to Harvard University. Although he intended to study pre-law, his interest in computers persisted. He kept in touch with Allen while he was at Harvard, and the two of them talked about new technologies and business opportunities. Something significant happened in 1975. A magazine called "Popular Electronics" announced the Altair 8800, the first personal computer based on the Intel 8008 microchip. Gates and Allen realized that there was going to be a big market for personal computers. They decided to create a BASIC interpreter for Microsoft. Gates joined Allen in starting "Microsoft" in Albuquerque, New Mexico, without finishing his education at Harvard. In the beginning, they didn't have much money, and they had to do everything themselves – programming, marketing, and running the business. They were quickly noticed thanks to Gates's hard work and extensive computer knowledge. The Rise of Microsoft and Its Global Impact: Microsoft's biggest success came in 1980 when IBM asked them to create an operating system for their new personal computer. Gates and Allen quickly developed "MS-DOS," an operating system that became the foundation for the IBM PC. MS-DOS became very popular, and Microsoft became the leader in the personal computer operating system market. Later, Microsoft introduced the Windows operating system, which completely changed how people used computers. Windows rose to become the most widely used operating system on the planet as a result of computers becoming much simpler to use thanks to the graphical user interface (GUI). After that, Microsoft came out with the Microsoft Office Suite, which became essential for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Bill Gates's business smarts, tech knowledge, and competitive spirit turned Microsoft into one of the most powerful and valuable companies in the world. He put in a lot of effort and paid close attention to everything about the business. His leadership and ability to see the future helped Microsoft keep coming up with new ideas. Reaching the Top and New Horizons: With the amazing success of Microsoft, Bill Gates became one of the richest people in the world. But even at the top, he didn't stop. In 2000, he stepped down as the CEO of Microsoft and started the "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation" with his wife, Melinda Gates. This charity works around the world to improve health, education, and reduce poverty. Gates and Melinda use their huge wealth to support research and vaccination programs for diseases like malaria, polio, and HIV. They also run projects to improve education and the quality of life for people in developing countries. Bill Gates now spends most of his time working on the foundation. He goes to different events and conferences to raise awareness and talks with world leaders about development work. From being a pioneer in the tech industry, he has become a global humanitarian. Bill Gates's Inspiring Aspects: We can learn many things from Bill Gates's life: * Dreams and Hard Work: Gates had a clear dream about computers from a young age and worked tirelessly to make that dream come true. * Using Opportunities Wisely: He saw the potential of the personal computer market early on and quickly took advantage of that opportunity. * Vision and Innovation: Gates always looked towards the future and was interested in new technologies and ideas. Groundbreaking innovations like Windows were a result of his vision. * Business Acumen: His sharp business mind and strategies played a key role in turning Microsoft into a global company. * Contributing to Humanity: After reaching the top, Gates used his wealth and influence to help people around the world, making him a truly inspiring figure. Bill Gates's life proves that with dreams, hard work, and the right goals, any obstacle can be overcome. Just as his dream of changing the world through technology came true, his contributions to humanity have also brought positive changes to the lives of millions of people worldwide. He is not just a rich person, but a visionary leader and a great example for humanity.

The Day That Took Away All My Colors
Date: 14 April 2017 (Pahela Baishakh) Isn’t that a beautiful date? It truly was — once upon a time. Before 2017, that date meant joy, colors, laughter, and pure memories. We used to play with colors, even though we weren’t allowed to. I studied in a madrasa, along with my friends and cousins. Color play was forbidden there. If the Huzur ever saw color on us, we’d surely get punished. But who cared? Our childhood hearts were wild and fearless.
