By Svay Sanuch Overview It's unlikely that virtual reality (VR) comes to mind when considering ways to combat climate change. However, it's becoming into a tool that has the potential to alter how we address one of the most pressing global issues of our day. Imagine being able to observe the consequences of deforestation up close, be able to tour the Arctic without ever leaving your house, or even discover engaging, entertaining ways to lessen your carbon footprint. VR is perfectly suited to provide that. VR is taking on a much larger role and changing the game from being simply for amusement and gaming.
