Anurag dixit

A singer-songwriter-composer all rolled into one, Anurag started making music for TV channels at a very young age. He composed and performed music for TV series ‘Campus’, ‘Career dot com’ etc. He was also performing all across the country. At the same time he was working on his solo debut album ‘Sounds Gr8!!’. The album was produced by legendary music producer & engineer Ashish Manchanda. Some of the most influential musicians like Ranjit Barot & Abhijit Nalani played on this album. ‘Sounds Gr8!!’ was released by Times music and it became a ‘best-seller’ album within a couple of weeks. MTV specially featured Anurag and his album in a special show called ‘MTV Roots’. For this album, Anurag was nominated several times for Hungama-Artist Aloud awards. Anurag also toured across India for his live shows. Along with Shaan, Neha Kakkad, Sonu Kakkad, Neha Bhasin etc. Anurag performed at the ‘Music Day’ organized by ‘Hungama-Atist Aloud’. Since ‘Sounds Gr8!!’ Anurag has enjoyed mainstream music success with his best-seller albums released on various music labels. His next album ‘Laakhon Aasman’ came out on Universal music & Crescendo music. This album enjoyed much greater success. Several songs like ‘Khatti Meethi’, ‘Khalbali’, ‘Laakhon Aasman’, ‘Tumhe bhool na payenge’ etc were huge hits and also enjoyed MTV airplay. Anurag won ‘Best Male singer’ award for this album in the prestigious ‘Hungama-Artist Aloud Awards’. He also won ‘Make in India’ conclave awards for ‘Laakhon Aasman’.
