Bio
I've loved writing for a very long time, but I haven't really done anything for it in a while. I am here hoping to inspire myself and maybe get back the passion I once had. Who knows, maybe one day I'll have the chance to publish something.

Amtgard Legends
Prologue A crack of thunder struck the night sky, rain poured down coating the grass in a clear mist. Sat in the middle of a large grove was a long, thin pedestal holding what looked to be a glass sphere. Another crack of lightning shot across the sky. Out of the tree line walked a tall, slender being clad in a veil of yellow.

Truth Be Told
Henry's day started like any other, he went for a morning jog, had a cup of coffee, took a shower and got ready for work. The weather was nice out and he was in a particularly good mood, even as he opened his front door to find a small black box sitting on his doorstep. There were no delivery trucks and he hadn't heard anyone knock on his door. Curious and with plenty of time to spare he brought the box inside. It had no markings along the outside and it wasn't very heavy, but as he picked it up to examine the bottom he found an envelope taped to it. Must be an early birthday present he thought as he flipped the top of the envelope open and slid the card from inside, but it was as he scanned the contents of the card that his mood suddenly changed. It read, Happy Anniversary Henry, I hope you haven't forgotten me. -With Love Anna

Trapped
My mother used to take me to the aquarium for my birthday every year, sometimes we would even travel to find the biggest and best ones we could. Today is my birthday. I'm twenty-five now, my mother passed away late last year, but tradition is tradition. A friend of mine sent me an article about a month ago that she'd found online, it talked about a brand new aquarium that was opening it's doors just an hours drive away from our little town. The description talked about getting to be a part of a never before seen exhibit, of course they all said that, but for some reason the article left me with a curiosity I couldn't shake.

Specticle
Recently, I often I find myself in the same place, bathed in blue light and watching as the creatures in front of me flow by. Sometimes they stop to look back at me, pressing their faces as close as they can get to the glass that stands between us, sometimes they just pass by as if my presence couldn't even begin to interest them. I don't really know why I'm here, but it brings me comfort, it makes me feel as if I'm not alone, as if the world around me isn't so vast and scary.
