5 Types Of Guys You'll Have A Fling With At University
1. The Fresher Stalker
Like many, I decided it was the right decision to call it off with my high school sweetheart within just days of beginning my first term - it was a long time coming, I promise. Anyway, it just so happened that within three days of my break-up, I'd already caught someone's eye. He lived in the same block of halls, and, to be honest, I thought it was a sign that it was meant to be. He seemed really sweet at first. He was so caring, especially after telling him I'd just broken up with my boyfriend. That's when he said "no way, me too!", and for some reason I believed him. Looking back, it's obvious that he was taking advantage of my emotional vulnerability, but I just didn't see it at the time. We'd text during the daytime and hook up after nights out. It seemed too perfect; and it was. Within a few weeks of this routine I found out he'd also been doing exactly the same with three other newly single girls, who also just happened to have long, blonde hair and blue eyes. Of course, he preyed on a specific type of fresher. Stupidly though, I didn't stop there. I thought he cared so I tried harder and harder to push the other girls away, but it didn't work. Well, it did to an extent, but soon he found new girls to play with on the side. Lesson learnt: don't go for the first guy that says he knows how you feel.
