What lies behind the Closet door

Scratch Scratch Scratch That is all I ever hear, every single night behind my closet door. It won't leave me, no matter how much I may scream and yell at it. It mocks my weak attempts, and scratches louder and more aggressively just to tip me over the edge. Well, it succeeded in doing so. I angrily rip off the comforter from my body and stomp towards my closet door. I quickly twist the doorknob and swing the door open. I was met with a slim black figure with blue eyes. I tilt my head and say "Will you stop the scratching please; it makes me want to rip my ears off. Now quit it. And why are you in my closet?"
