WHAT IS MARKETING CHANNEL: A marketing channel is the route that your product follows from its origin to the final customer. Some examples of marketing channels are: advertising, wholesaling, retailing, direct sales and door-to-door selling. It’s important to select the right channel marketing for your products as some are more effective than others at reaching customers and turning them into repeat buyers. For example, if you want to sell your products in a grocery store or department store, it’s important to select an appropriate distribution channel since these types of stores have specific methods of product selection and payment acceptance.
