With Pencils. Content Warning.
The clang from the pencils in the can signified Miles Dow displaying his mind. He made a beat with the can. He wore a sign showing that he was visually impaired. With all of the traffic of the Wilmington, Delaware streets in the business district, he could detect the difference between the sound of a penny and a nickel. The tinny sounds could be deciphered quickly and registered with his brain.

The room looked drab. A mixture of copper and cleaning products permeated the air. A crack of sunlight barely showed in the corner. Jerrod Grier sat with his hands behind his back. Sweat drenched his tank top and his brow was soaked as well. No marks or signs of torture appeared.

As the town comptroller of Newark, Delaware, he was a representative of over 30,000 people. His name was Jennings Wyatt. Slight build and angular, he kept his office together with a wiry sense of humor combined with a no nonsense demeanor.
