All in an app...
I recently read an article in The Cut about the rise of therapy apps and how it has exponentially increased in the time of COVID-19. The article had a healthy dose of statistics, anecdotal stories and the writer’s take on how this market is to say the very least nuanced. As someone who believes firmly in the benefits of therapy and investing in your own mental health and well being, I think that in a general sense the therapy apps add to the conversation.

Dearest you, I may not know you personally, but I do see you, day in and day out making small miracles everyday. This letter is to the women who are often overlooked and unacknowledged. I want to let you know that you are vital to making the world go ‘round, there isn’t an area of life that doesn’t have your touch.

Welcome!
I am beyond excited to have found Vocal! This site gives me an opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas with other collaborators. Most of the content will be related to everyday life as it relates to current events; I would call it the intersection of me! I mostly enjoy writing essays and op-eds, I've always found it difficult to build characters and storylines, so short stories/fiction has never really been my thing.
