Second Chance
She saw something sparkling on the hill. It looked like a giant diamond. When they got closer she saw it was a glass domed house reflecting the light of the sitting sun. It was magnificent. She wouldn’t be here if she had not ended her marriage of 12 years with two kids 11 and 8, listened to her friend Sally’s suggestion that they take a college class together. Sally was trying to help her move on with her life. So they took together, a romantic poetry class.

Summer Love
It was a cool summer day with grey clouds looming and blocking the sun from it’s usual daily duty. She had learn from experience that in the San Francisco bay area it was a common thing making it alway cool enough for a jacket as she buttoned the top of hers.

Snowy afternoon
The landscape seems wrapped in white smoke and scarcely anything could be seen from the falling snow. The whole mountain had unrolled into a winter slendor with the lake now churning from the blowing wind. There was a boat on the horizon. She was sure it belonged to her neighbor who lived not far from her. He loved to fish even in this kind of weather. The little silent snow flakes came swiftly down. She put her hand out and let them rest on it. The snow blew inside her collar. She was glad when she got to her gift shop. She unlocked the dodoor snd went inside.

Against all Odds
The fire burned brightly in the old stone fireplace. She had lit it for warmth against the chill in the air from the early fall misty rainy weather. On the mantle was several vanilla scented candles of all sizes flickering casting ghostly shadows on the wall.

The Windy Forest
He was bathed and shaved, as he quickly pulled on a pair of his jeans. He located a shirt and pour a splash of light cologne on his hands, he slapped the sides of his neck, whistling under his breath. Then he walked out of his cabin down the hill across the road to her cabin. Along the side of the road overgrown crepe myrtles bucked a little from a sudden breeze and scattered their confetti of purple flowers.
