Viraj’s parents, like many others, wanted to provide him with the best education possible. However, due to their financial constraints, they were unable to afford the costs associated with enrolling him in a private school. Despite this, Viraj’s mother was determined to give her son the education he deserved. She took on additional work cleaning houses and walking long distances to earn extra money. After several months of hard work, she saved enough to enroll Viraj in an English-medium school. Though she was thrilled to see her son in his new school uniform, she soon realized that they still lacked the funds to purchase necessary school supplies. In a selfless act of sacrifice, Viraj’s mother sold her own ankle chain to provide the money needed for the books and uniform.
