Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough? Question if you should’ve done things differently? As a black woman in the last year of her 20s, I can’t help but reflect on my life and smile, even about the bad things because a lot of it helped me to grow. This is a reflective and vulnerable moment, something I don’t usually share with people, but I don’t want to stay in the shade so the sun doesn’t burn me. It’s time to share the thing that sits heaviest on my mind and made me feel my lowest…my short-lived modelling career.

5 Reasons Why You Should Go On A Cruise
Here I am, thinking about booking another cruise, again. I’ve only been on two cruises so far, but I absolutely loved them! The first was with Royal Caribbean in 2022, where I saw seven different southern Caribbean islands in seven days. It was pure magic and I didn’t want to leave. I remember wanting to pretend I had covid just so I could stay on the ship for an extra week! The second cruise was with Celebrity Cruises where I went to four more Caribbean islands in seven days. I experienced sea days with this cruise, which is where you spend the whole day on the cruise whilst it sails to the next country. That was a nice chance to reset and just laze around in luxury.

Budgeting. The worst word in the English language. As a recent graduate starting a Masters course shortly, budgeting has become even more essential than before. Over the past five years, I have spent ridiculous amounts of money on rent, bills, clothes, food, holidays, everything really. Had I started saving earlier, I would be in a much better position. Luckily, my dad’s nagging and desire to splash the cash on the summer of a lifetime encouraged me to start saving from last year. Now I have something called savings!
