DragonCon and Crafts
As I start my tiara craft I say to myself, why doesn’t Dragoncon have a small craft like this people can take a part in? The only arts and crafts section when I was there was where you just listen to someone talk about how they make their crafts, but not actually get to do any. Same with the writing. There was no way of writing together and sharing your work, it was just sitting and listening to an author talk about their work. It is either that or a giant expensive project you pay $200 extra for like making a suit or joining in on a writing workshop when the trip is already costly.

10 Mystery and Horror Games
1. Bendy and the Dark Revival: The sequel to Bendy and the Ink Machine. This dark twist on old cartoons reminds me of a devil version of the old Mickey steamboat clips. The 50s cartoon atmosphere is a great spin on a horror game. Run and hide from the ink or become ink yourself!

My Brilliant friend
I am Lila from My Brilliant Friend... or I was. In the show, two girls become friends at a young age: Lila Cerullo and Elena Greco. I, Lila was a brilliant young girl who could read and write easily at a young age, but was suppressed by the working class town I grew up in. As of today, I grew up in a better time where women have more rights, but what did going all the way through college this time actually do for me now? College doesn't mean the same as it did in the forties when not everyone got to go to school, and now it is just seen as a given.

Rococo Rocks and Shells
Deriving from the word rocaille (the French word for rock or pebble), the Rococo art style was loud and luxurious. the The painting of A Young Girl Reading is a type of reference to a style that is similar to fantasy with a regal and whimsical flare. Pastel colors mix with the whites catch the eye with a theatrical excitement. The yin and yang of the intimidation of the style with the peacefulness of the girl in her reading chair causes mixed interest of emotions in the painting, especially knowing that the style was later deemed not serious enough by philosophers who wanted neutral colors and minimalized styles.

Seashell Sforzando
When I was growing up, most of the music that I listened to was country music because of my location and the type of family that I grew up in, and the song for country music that became popular in 2004 was Mr. Mom by Lonestar with this cute cartoon video of a Dad who realizes that the work a mother puts into raising her children. Back when we were first starting to introduce the concept of having a stay at home father.
