With Ink Made of Stars. Top Story - November 2023.
It was in a basement somewhere on the blurry side of Berlin when I first saw her work. Perhaps it had been the pulse of the light show, the writhing bodies, the liquid beat, or my space eyes but the ink upon a stranger's upper arm opened up to the universe beyond. It shifted, twisted, turned clockwise and then not. It floated suspended in the space between everyone else and me.

This is me and this is my pod. It is a good pod. It’s got everything I need, and I changed its colour the other day so it’s fashionable now. I chose the shades sunflower, daffodil, dandelion, mango, bumblebee, canary, lemon and creamy corn. All of those words I mentioned just now might sound silly and made-up, but they’re actually types of yellow.

Death once told me that, in theory, the turritopsis dohrnii could live forever. “More commonly known as the immortal jellyfish,” he read out the information at the side of the tank, “They revert back to a juvenile stage known as a polyp. This is brought on by factors such as threats to their environment or old age, and allows them to repair damaged cells.”

Innocence's End
When we discovered dragon’s breath O innocence’s end Gentle waves caressed the shore and Innocence’s toes. Mother no longer sat with him in the afternoons. Her bones were too brittle these days to carry him to the shore. Besides, he had grown and his arms had filled out enough that he could drag himself.
