The founders of this car brand are Karl Rapp, Camilo Castiglioni, Gustaf Otto, and Franz Joseph Popp. The BMW founders have developed the car logo in such a manner that it represents its country of origin i.e., Germany. The white and blue colors of the BMW logo which is completed as the 4 colored quadrants represent the State of Bavaria in Germany which is known to be the home of BMW.
