Art of tea drinking and lace making towards inner peace & mental agility
Ups and downs...welcome the bipolar world called life! If I was to sum up very briefly what brings me inner peace, calm and a bit of serenity in my everyday scenarios, I would say two things....lace making and a cup of tea.

The 'wonder' of going back to basics and handmade....
I describe it as working to the bone, hand sewing often comes with scratches and pin pricks but the effort is worth it. Two things of anything you make that’s handmade are never the same. There’s always something that slightly different about it. I make collections of brooches, stylised embroidery hoops and sewn pictures as part of my work but I do other things as well. All my crafts require cutting, stitching, and a lot more time than sewing on a machine.

On saving the planet...
What you have to understand is that we are running out of time....we need changes but they are too slow to come. We need earth shattering commitments and for leaders to stand up and fight for what’s right or more accurately the right thing to do, because of course why wouldn’t anyone want to save our beautiful planet. I am sure this doesn’t make much sense to most people, so where does that leave us?
