An Insight into Nietzsche’s Perspective on this Concept The first time I got to hear and experience this statement was in a philosophy class on existentialism. Being a Christian, my first impression was comprised of an open-mouthed gesture symbolizing temporary shock. Not until we got deeper into the subject matter that Nietzsche's profound declaration and its philosophical reverberations emerged and started to fill our ego to know its deep meaning.
