Guilt
Guilt Achilles did a 180 degree twist, hopping into the air, subsequently sprinting behind the couch and running a lap around the living room before abruptly stopping and flopping down onto the carpet. Bells and Whistles
Bells and Whistles I was standing in the middle of the tracks, a half-empty, flat bottle of Miller High Life gripped in my trembling left hand. Cahokia
Prologue There weren’t always dragons in the valley. For the last few centuries, they had been merely folk legend; awareness of their previous, mighty existence only creeping subtly into the local psyche upon the unearthing of a new boneyard, which hadn’t happened in as long as Tsula could remember, and he was becoming an old man. He wasn’t yet old enough to cease his hunting, though – he wouldn’t do that until he was physically incapable. Hunting was his life; it provided him a productive escape from the never-ending bustle of Cahokia.

A Terrible Fate
A Terrible Fate It was a fairly small place; attracting, from what I could tell, mostly local patronage from the south side of the city. It certainly looked appealing from the outside; with thick, stained glass windows, an arching mansard roof, and an old, though well-kept sign hanging from the canopy above the front door; swinging creakily in the wind and the rain.
