Take a Timely Time Out
It's something I'd done over the years at times when I felt a little down or stressed. Now it's something I do almost every day, sometimes several times a day, so that I feel less stress and experience more joy in my life. For me, it's really a magical, yet simple process. I'd like to share it with you.

Stay the Course and Finish the Race
She came into my life at the age of 14. This special teenager that suffers from ADHD—"squared!" She has a heart of gold and loves to please. She also possesses the mechanical aptitude to assemble a BBQ, sans instructions. Can you do that? I know I can't!

The Missing Cornerstone of Success
A Hero is someone who, the moment prior to becoming one, was a reckless, irresponsible dreamer. Risk None, Gain Nothing. I wrote the above while in deep reflection, mulling over whether I was truly prepared to take on the mammoth job of successfully launching an Internet marketing company. The Bulging Right Pocket
It was one of the worst periods of time in my life. Recently separated, I had just lost custody of my two daughters, and was forced to vacate my newly-renovated home (with three days notice) that contained the well-equipped recording studio I had spent two years building prior to selling my dry cleaning business (in order to build a long-desired music production company).

Can an Innocent Insect Teach Us About Life Purpose?
I was a guest at a lakefront party a few weeks ago. Lake St. Clair to be exact, the big body of shallow water that straddles the Great Lakes, Erie and Huron, yet has never been crowned as one of the Great Lakes. Sitting under one of the two large tent structures that sheltered a huge hot tub, beer fridge, and state-of-the-art BBQ among other beach party requisites, I thought the tied-back screen valances that rimmed the structures were evening defence for mosquito invasions. It seemed a little early in the season for those tiny tyrannical bloodsuckers, but I left it at that.
