Pedro Zamora
Is it me or did Pedro Zamora look a lot like Desi Arnaz? Pedro Zamora was a member of the cast of MTV Real World San Francisco. He was gay and Cuban and from Cuba 🇨🇺 originally and from Miami. Pedro had HIV and was an activist for a cure and awareness. His roommates on the show became his family. She married her boyfriend on the show and died in front of the camera. Rest in peace Pedro Zamora. He was also proudly Cuban. Pedro lives through his humanitarian efforts and the real world of San Francisco

René Magritte was a famous Belgian surrealist artist. One of his most famous works is The Son of Man. I first saw Rene Magritte’s works in another version of Ozzy’s Mama I’m coming home, where the video was filmed within all his iconic works.

The Scream
Edvard Munch’s scream is another of my favorite paintings next to Nighthawks’. I have a T-shirt with The Scream 😱 by Edvard Munch. This painting is absolutely bright and incredible. It is a contradiction in a sense of warm colors, but a dark and deep theme. The Scream is the inner anxiety and torment of modern life and is as relevant today as the way Nighthawks are. In the Scream The dark figures represent anxiety and all the things we try to escape from and that is what the person who screams is a precise representation. The Scream is a masterpiece!

Nighthawks
Nighthawks By Edward Hopper in 1942 is really one of my favorite paintings of all time. My interpretation of this iconic painting is accurate. Another interpretation of mine is that these people are lost souls and Nighthawks, an apparently unpretentious restaurant, is actually purgatory. This painting gives me chills because it’s about isolation in an urban area or rural area, you can be isolated anywhere. This artistic triumph has relevance in today’s world due to our mobile phones and social networks. Nighthawks is a fine art work and there is no doubt about it and Edward Hopper created a masterpiece.

Logo Channel 🏳️🌈
Logo Channel is a channel that is made for the LGBTQ community. Truly Gay friendly programming. It is still a gay friendly channel the way it was in its inception and evolution. Currently it plays classic sitcoms like Married With Children and Mama Family. Logo has not forgotten its roots in gay friendly programming as I have said and it still is but has done in many different ways.

Psychedelic 😵💫 World by Rikki La Rouge
Psychedelic World is my first poetry book before Scenery of Society which would come years later. With this book I tried to get it published I sent it to all of the major publishers out there for example penguin publishing. There are two versions one is in English and the other one is written in Spanish. I did the illustrations for the work myself and it is true to the book being that it is a psychedelic drawing. I can’t explain the meaning of the drawing other than that it’s just cool and a snapshot of the machinations of my mind.

Trinity 3 by Rikki La Rouge
I am on a twin flame journey and also one of exploration of my past lives and reincarnation. This work is deeply personal for me because I know how the world is quick to go after what they don’t understand. To go on this journey for me has been deeply personal as I said, and also I have learned a lot about myself, and if I may say so this during for me is just getting started. All of my books like in every other medium I’ve ever worked in everything I’ve ever produced are my children. Papa loves y’all more than life itself.

Hate crimes must stop
I had never gotten the chance to express my condolences to the victims of the senseless hate crime shooting that took place at Pulse nightclub club in Florida 🏳️🌈 until now. It is really disgusting how anybody can hate someone because of raise because of gender and actually take it out on anyone. Hate crimes must be stopped. I had some social media friends who had friends over there that night. The shooting took place. can only imagine the pain that they all felt and it is tremendous and you gotta stop being intrigued by I hate

It is an honor that people can come out to me
I am glad that so many people feel coming out of the closet to me about their true sexuality. I think about the fact that people feel comfortable and safe to come out of the closet to me and if I can make a person comfortable it means a lot to me. I remember the first time a girl came out to me was in catholic highschool of all places. From that moment it was the first time I ever had that happen and it’s one of those things and to me I wonder if I came out of the closet would I have that
