Ay, Luxembourg...
It was the year 1989. We disembarked from our charter plane and couldn't believe how cold it was. The customs in the Luxembourg airport gave us 45 minutes to get out of their hair and out of their country. They couldn't believe we had no visa, money, or ticket out.

There's a Feeling I Get When I Look to the West
The Buddha said, "Life is suffering,” but he didn't specify. We'll make it, but I'm hurting badly. I'm hurting because I miss her so much more in wintertime. The season that preceded it was nostalgic and an omen of things and feelings to come.

The Time I Thought My Gift Was My Curse
The people in the office, equivalent to the NSA in the year 2044, sat with me and questioned me for hours. Medical people checked my vitals and were especially interested in my blood contents. Other scientists placed EGG machines on my skull, and an MRI of my brain was coming up at any minute.
