My First Concert Ever. Top Story - September 2023.
I went to my first concert ever last night, on 9/15/2023, to see my favorite band since 2017, Icon for Hire. I wanted to make going there extra special by getting the highest VIP package there is, the pre-show party. This includes going onto the tour bus and actually hanging out with Ariel, Shawn, and Flicka.

Future Peer Facilitator
Mixed emotions are brutal. I am terrified but extremely excited about one thing at the same. I participated in a group called PACES (I don't remember the acronym) in May and June of this year. It is to help people with epilepsy who also need help learning to cope with emotions. With it being only eight weeks, it helps you learn but you don't practice them in the group. Near the end of the sixth session, the facilitator asked if she could call me. I have known her for over nine years so, of course, I was okay with it.

Get to Know Me
After seeing a Top Story by Kayleigh Fraser ❤️, doing this felt required. So, here goes nothing... 1. I am obsessed with music. It is my life. Some songs, most by Icon for Hire, are the reason I haven't given up. The first song by them that I ever heard was "Under the Knife" (lyric video below for those who are interested) which is what made me realize that hurting myself is an issue. Before that, I thought it was normal... I was a dumb teenager (as most people are).

Drama of the Day
Today was an interesting day with a decent amount of mental drama... Backstory: In high school, I was in a small group of music nerd kids. There were four of us and three of us were really close, hanging out outside of school. Meghan, Alana, Julia, and me. Meghan, Julia, and I were inseparable for three years. Now, Meghan and Alana are not around Julia and me. They stopped talking to us after high school.
