Arthur was disorientated and drowsy from the poison as he stumbled his way up the long twisting stairs to his bedchamber. Magically disguised as a pageboy, Morgana le Fay trailed behind him, carrying a jug of wine. Once inside, Arthur struggled to remove his armor. Morgana set the wine jug down.

Magically disguised as a pageboy, Morgana le Fay stood silently behind a long table of knights, holding a jug of wine. Minstrels played as Arthur and his men ate and drank in celebration. They had been victorious in battle just the day before.

Morgana le Fay knelt next her lover Accolon, weeping. He was dead, from a fatal wound inflicted by Arthur. She looked around the battlefield, where countless bodies lay slain. This was Arthur’s doing. He had so ruthlessly persecuted the old ways and the old religion that many had revolted against him. He slaughtered those that did.
