Falling in Love

I can’t wait to fall in love. Not just in love. Truly in love. With the person I want to be with. Where all our hopes and dreams come true. Sounding like a broken record. Sounding like everybody else. But who doesn’t want to be truly in love? I searched to find the one. I began praying and begging for the person to come to light. I gave my heart away to people who doesn’t deserve it to find the one who does. I've fallen apart to the point I’m just a walking skeleton. My mind is asking me to stop letting everybody hurt me. My heart tells me can keep going because that person is out there for me. I just haven’t found him yet. The things I am doing to myself to find love. The things I did for you to make you love me. Have I really fallen in love with you or did I fall in love with the idea of falling truly in love with you? After all, I thought you were the one. I did all of this for you... I can’t wait to stop hurting. To stop truly hurting.
