A few weeks has passed and I haven't seen Officer Quintero in awhile. I just finished some paperwork and told my boss that I will be going to lunch and if he wanted me to do anything. He nodded his head and I exited the store, leaving for home for lunch. After an hour, I came back to the store and saw that there was a police vehicle in the front with their red and blue lights on. I walked into the office and saw my boss Henry and asked what happened.

I never thought I would find and know someone that I have a connection with, mostly drawn and wanting their presence. It all started when a black haired boy came into the store. He was wearing a black zip up jacket, dark gray t-shirt, black pants, black Converse sneakers, and a black backpack on his back. He went to the electronics area and selected a boom box and then to the liquor aisle where he selected a bottle of Jose Cuervo, concealing it into his pants. The boy went towards the sporting goods area and took the boom box out of its packaging and concealed it into his black backpack and walked out the front door with a smile on his face towards all the other workers there.

A Funny Story When Becoming Sexually Active
The story and lesson I will be writing about is true, but names will be changed to protect one's identification. I remember one day one of my friends came over, and she is very young, which I would say close to 13 years old. We talk about a lot of things and sometimes I try to help her with life since I am older than her and experienced some of the things she is going through. Out of nowhere she asked me if I ever caught anybody having sex or saw anyone. Honestly, I was surprised when she asked me a personal and traumatic question for her only being that age, but later, she would be experiencing this type of stuff. Is Marching Band Considered an Extracurricular Activity?
From being in a high school who did not consider marching band an extracurricular activity was sort of, you can call it, mind playing. At one event, we would be awarded and then the next, they do not say to come up to the stage to tell the younger kids about the hard work we do. Opening My Eyes
I feel like after seeing what has been happening all around me, I grew up a little. From being a little girl taking care of my younger brothers and not discovering who really am, to making it to this year of 2018. I can understand why I am here and experiencing all these events. I used to think to myself all the time since I gave birth to my little girl, how am I, as an 18-year-old mother going to get through the struggles? I faced a lot of disappointments and resentment, but grew out of the negativity and saw there is a way to get what I want for my future and my daughter's. I couldn't face why the father of my child could not grow up and just be an adult until I faced the fact I can have fun in life without being judgmental and harsh of the choices he makes. As teachers and friends always told me: we are only humans; we all make mistakes.

Stress at a Young Age?
Have you ever seen anyone that was so stressed out that they changed, including yourself? As I remember as being a young girl and helping my mom watch my younger brothers, I have seen it a lot in my family and friends to identify it. To see anyone you love go through harsh times is not fun to see nor tempting to bring out of the blue, mostly being at the age of four. Looking back, I had been affected and now look at me, my emotions take control of me more than it should.
