British Government Is Failing to Govern
British government is failing to govern. July 2019 GET OUT OF EU AND GET ON WITH GOVERNING BRITAIN. The sooner we get a government working on domestic issues, the better, so much sheer stupidity needs sorting, the bureaucrats have had a wonderful free time with all political attention and energy focused on leaving the EU. As a result, the government and the nation urgently needs to make changes, I am sure many things can be listed, but here are a couple.

Ageism
Ageism. Is this a real problem or a media creation? Is there really conflict between youth and age? The media is fond to claiming that young people blame the older generation for the sorry state of the world. It never seems to credit the same older people, with anything that is good. The media is filled with claims that younger people want the older generation out of “power” so they can take over and make the world a better place. Whenever there is an issue, from Britain leaving the EU to road traffic accidents, the media proclaims that it is old people causing problems for younger ones.

Why the EU Has to Go
Why the European Union should be broken up. The existing EU organisation is a failure, if viewed only from the perspective of the majority of indigenous people. It is a success to those who are, or have been, employed by it, those making money from the various reported frauds, which extract money from it and it is a success, to those politicians who have gained power from it.

Political Protests
Political protest When is it acceptable? Does it achieve anything? In some way or another, nearly all protests that involve groups of people are political, from a local gathering who want a road sign changed to international mass marches against climate change. Appearance, Relationships and Politics
Consider how the modern obsessions with appearance and relationships, affects politics. While these twin obsessions, growing stronger seem to have started a long way back in history. Medieval warrior aristocrats used fine banners and distinctive clothing and armor to ensure their own side knew who they were, then came uniforms so everyone in the army was recognizable to all the others on the same side. Preventing death by friendly fire. The notion of warrior nobility evolved into displays of wealth just to distinguish the wealthy from the poor.

Intolerance in Politics and Life
Intolerance in Politics and Life Intolerance is growing, and it seems those who preach "equality for all" are becoming the most intolerant. While both extremes have unacceptable behaviour, the left appear to be in denial that their actions and words are as bad as the far right.

Were Empires Good or Bad?
Were empires good or bad? Judging history with today's opinions achieves nothing. We are subjected to a lot of claims that Britain was wrong to have had an empire. Most of the criticism of Britain's empires seems to come from the middle class socialists living in Britain, the self-appointed elite who claim to be the arbiters of what is politically correct.

Is Real Life What We Want?
Is real life what we want? Could we cope with reality? It often appears that we—that is modern people living in developed nations—live our lives through images of other people. Some seem to want to live their lives through their children, wishing they live as their parents would liked to have done. Could any of us cope with "real life," whatever that means?

The Balance Between Positive and Negative Energies
It was said—by Oscar Wild—"no good deed goes unpunished." Positive and negative forces in creation have to roughly balance each other, if the normal laws and rules of physics are to be accurate. God can be said to be the positive energy, Satan the negative; we should always be positive but never stop being vigilant, because the negative is never far away, and is always trying to catch up. If you do a good deed and stop to be proud of yourself, the negative will catch up while you congratulating yourself.
