Hidden Places (Part 9)
Previously, in Part 8 Part 9 Penny We hadn’t spoken much on the ride back up the hill, and kept pretty quiet once we got back to the house, too. There was a silent agreement among us that we would sleep inside, even though the tents were up and ready for us.

Hidden Places (Part 8)
Previously in Part 7 Part 8 Danny: There's something...not right... It felt weird leaving Dawn on the road above us. She’s not one to come out of the shelter much, and certainly she’s not one to be alone anywhere. But I know her—when she needs to get something on paper or canvas, it’s so compelling to her that she is somehow able to overcome her inclination to hide away.

No Ferry Today (Part 6)
A group of islanders had gathered on the beach in front of The Beach Bar. They weren’t right up close to the water, out of experienced respect of the tide. They had dragged the abandoned beach chairs up closer to the front of the little restaurant/bar, added several others, and sat together, staring out to sea.

You Never Listen To Me!
I have been a mother for over four decades now, and I have to say--it does NOT get easier. I have grown up people call me up and ask for advise they never take. Never. I've gotten to the point where I give bad advise so they'll do the opposite and get it right. Even if I don't get credit, I don't have to hear them whine about how it all would have been fine if only they had listened to me.

Hidden Places (Part 6)
Previously in Part 5 Part 6: For all future references, let it be known: What Morty wants, Morty gets. Penny got pissed the other day. That’s the start of this whole thing, right there. Vance has a way of getting under her skin, that’s all. She’s been on-again, off again mad at him for years. She knows it; she tries to will it away; she can’t.

Hidden Places (Part 5)
Previously, in Part 4 Part 5: I was amazed to be in this little place. Location: Middle of Nowhere. Little houses all in a row, seven on this street, the same on the next. Then a “Main Street” road, with a convenience store/gas station, and a miniature school building, and one more road, more like a cul-de-sac, with three slightly bigger houses.

Hidden Places (Part 3)
Continued from Part 2 Morty motioned us off the road when we reached the spot where it curved sharply to the right and then started dropping into the valley below. We moved into the trees while making our way down closer to the warehouse we had seen the day before.
