Absence Seizures And. . . Me
Weeks ago, I was diagnosed with absence seizures. There had been a change for quite some time, but I myself had not quite noticed it nor was I able to put a finger on what it may be. Eventually, after quite some time, potentially years, I started to realize I was having spacey gappy moments where I would seemed paused that at the time, when describing them to others, I would refer to the feeling as though I was having a heavy dose of déjà vu wash over me. It was never anything particular that would cause them; I would simply get a little lost at the moment for ten to thirty seconds.

The Widow: An Undead Story
It has been years now since the neighborhood has been filled with families and the sounds of their little ones playing together in the streets. The world fell with the rise of the infection and the neighborhood with it. There was an evacuation not but a week after the initial start of local infections, offering to get those away before it could spread, but it was only weeks before the entire world was overrun.

This Is Luke Skywalker
Jedi Master Luke Skywalker made a return to the Star Wars small screen in the penultimate episode of The Book of Boba Fett & it had a far more mixed response than I myself expected. I was quite happy with both his portrayal & the means in which they brought him to life for this episode, even as I learned more about how each facet of this character was created. The obvious being Luke's face being digitally created similar to what they did in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian but obviously they've come a lot farther with this tech, not to mention the far better lighting conditions they were working with this time around.

What To Watch Before The Book Of Boba Fett Finale
Fair warning to those who for whatever reason may have not seen the most recent episode of The Book Of Boba Fett (and friends): spoilers ahead! With that out of the way none other than the infamous Cad Bane has made his return to the Star Wars small screen & what an entrance it was! He blasted everybody's favorite marshall Cobb Vanth & his not so bright deputy before making a cool smooth exit. It's no doubt the finale of The Book Of Boba Fett is going to be huge as the last episode pretty much ended with the Pykes starting the war by blowing up Madam Garsa's club in Mos Espa. So with the introudction of Cad Bane & the potential possibilty of more friendly faces coming to help Boba in his fight, I've compiled a list of episodes which I think would be good viewing going into the finale. Whether you're rewatching these episodes or just looking for more back story, these should all be enjoyable regardless!

STAR WARS Episode IX Concept Art Canonized
Recently StarWars.com released an excerpt from the upcoming novelization of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Expanded Edition by Rae Carson, which will be expanding on the film in various ways going as far to include deleted scenes which we will no doubt see when the film releases on digital, blu-ray, and invevitbaly streaming on Disney+. This is very similar to what was done with Star Wars: The Last Jedi's novelization as it included some of the deleted scenes from the film, therefore canonizing those scenes. The author Rae Carson of the novelization even noted on Twitter that the novel she is writing is longer than the theatrically released film by a half hour.

5 Jonathan Van Ness Quotes to Get You Through the Day
Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming queen of Queer Eye's fab five, and we all wish he was our best friend, not only because he'd totally glam us up but also because everything he says is both iconic and real AF. He’s also so much more than just the grooming member of the team. I feel he goes a long way in teaching the people they help on the show, and us, about the importance of self-care and how it important it is for our health and well-being. With that said, here are just a few things he's said to give you a little motivation today and hopefully make you smile.

'Halloween' and the Return of the Original Slasher
This October we get to see the return of one of horror film's greatest evils, The Shape! Now you may be looking at the photo above and be thinking "Um, that's Michael Myers though," and I'd tell you you're right, but before the countless sequels that followed the original Halloween film, there was just The Shape. That was all that was left of that little boy who murdered his sister on Halloween night. David Gordon Green's Halloween film will not only be the first new film in the franchise since 2002's Halloween Resurrection, but will basically cancel out every film that followed the first film, essentially bringing the character back to his original roots.
