Most Anticipated Comic Book Movies
Ever since X-Men blew up in the cinema in 1999, many studios have green lit a number of comic book adaptions that have quickly become the most anticipated comic book movies. It is no surprise that DC and Marvel lead the pack and have consistently delivered faithful, and sometimes not so faithful, movie adaptions that bring out the best and worst of the critics and fans. These movies have been the staple for the summer box office, and the offerings don’t seem be stopping any time soon. Thanks to these movies, everyone knows at least a handful of comic book super heroes, and they are clamoring to see them—and Batman—fight the bad guys. From the upcoming Spiderman Homecoming to The Justice League and all the way to Deapool 2, we will take a look at some of the most anticipated comic book movies.

Most Controversial Video Games
Some of the most controversial video games ever made are thought to expose kids to extreme sexual content and violence. Many claim that video games should be heavily censored in order to protect the minds of children, even though they are exposed to graphic content in other art forms—for example, film. Still, many believe that the main difference between video games and any other medium is that when you play one, you have a direct effect on what will happen, while you only observe things when watching a movie. Now, the opinion that certain video games will make you want to behave violently is not a popular one among gamers, as most understand that developers make games in order to artistically express themselves and entertain the masses. However, sometimes certain developers simply cross the line and make something that may end up haunting the minds of any player. Whether or not you agree with the critics, these are some of the most controversial video games of all time.

Greatest Video Game Soundtracks
Video game soundtracks are perhaps the most underrated part of any video game. Usually, critical criteria will venture far more towards the gameplay or presentation, but rarely an in depth dissection of the soundtrack. Soundtracks not only are key to creating a mood in video games, but they are usually excellent pieces of music in their own right. This is a flaw we seek to reprimand with our list of greatest video game soundtracks.

Amazing Superhero Games
Because of their charismatic nature, superheroes are characters that often translate to many art forms such as film, TV—or in this case—video games. Why Women Game Developers Matter
If you take a look at the top five games of 2015 according to MetaCritic, you’ll be pressed to find a female name among the credits. You may find names that sound like they should belong to women (here’s looking at you Leslie Benzies), but unfortunately the presence of women is nonexistent with the exception of Undertale’s Temmie Chang and Journey’s Robine Hunicke.

Political Walk of Shame
Let's be honest, nobody wants to see our politicians forced to walk through the streets naked. That would be more of a punishment for everyone else than it would be for the over-inflated egos that stalk the halls of Congress and lurk in state government. But sometimes I can't help but wish we could drag most of the people currently making a mockery of themselves in the presidential election through the streets and announce their crimes to the world. Just some guy with a cowbell shouting to an angry crowd—without the typical political media circus. I feel like it might promote some honesty in our election if our candidates had to risk a more visceral form of public shaming rather than just shrug off a few limp-wrested punches from the 24-hour election cycle.

Best Indie Games
Indie video games have become a staple of modern gaming since the mid-2000s. The success of games including Minecraft, World of Goo, and Terraria show that gaming has changed in big ways. Online methods of distributing games, paired with development tools that can be found the same way, leads to a situation where a publisher isn’t needed to put out an excellent game. Those who are passionate about making games can do so themselves without worrying about getting a financial backer to allow the game to see light. As such, the indie game industry has exploded and it can be hard to sift through and decide what games are bad, good, great, or outstanding. We present here a list of ten games that should be on any indie lover’s computer or console.

Sexuality In The Legend of Korra
Children’s television has advanced far beyond the innuendos of 80s Saturday morning cartoons like He-Man and G.I. Joe, programs that were rife with homoerotic interactions and inconsequential violence. The Nickelodeon animated series, The Legend of Korra, is a prime example of a show that defied the trappings of conventional kid’s programming while maintaining a sense of realism and a stance against ambiguous portrayals of female characters, diversity, death, and romance.
