Is this your year? Always wanted to write a book? 10 Quick Tips for Getting to THE END. 1. Decide what you want to write. A novel? Memoir? Full autobiography? Figure it out. Start with a sentence: I want to write a book about ___________________. When you’re ready, expand that sentence to a paragraph, then a full page. Don’t self-edit, just let your thoughts flow.

Confessions of A Conflicted Sun Worshipper
The mere mention of summer makes me feel all warm and new-puppy happy. Don’t know why; summer here in Florida is not all that different from spring, or fall, or winter for that matter. Summer seems more a state of mind - the ever-present lure of white sandy beaches, colorful umbrellas (maybe sipping something frosty and just a tad spirited?), or nap-worthy lounge chairs by a turquoise swimming pool.
