Biography of Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath is an Indian politician and Hindu monk who has been serving as Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister since 19 March 2017. He was appointed to the position on March 26 after the Bhartiya Janta party won the state assembly election. He was a prominent campaigner for the Bhartiya Janta Party. His action and work gained popularity which helped him to win the 2022 State Assembly elections again and become Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second time. Before becoming Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he served five consecutive terms, from 1998 to 2017, as a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Gorakhpur constituencies.
