Who is Irving Klaw?. Created with: OG Collection.
Since the beginning of time, or at least the dawn of the daguerreotype, one subject has captivated artists of all mediums and movements alike with its beauty, intrigue, and mystique; The female form, for many, even those God fearing amongst you, there is nothing more beautiful than a naked woman. Any woman, any time. Erotic photography has captivated artists, such as one of its forefather Irving Klaw, theoreticians, and consumers for two centuries. Prior to 1839, nude renderings were namely produced via drawings, paintings and engravings, all of which lacked the detail and veracity of the photograph. Thus, there was something inherently more illicit about an erotic photograph than a painting of the same subject. They were considered closer to real life. It was from that fetish, depicting people in fetishistic situations such as bondage, BDSM, transvestism, and domination that Irving Klaw found his calling.

Donald Trump Playboy Interview
Before the master of hype cemented himself as the master of politics and changed the Republican party forever, he was a lot like every other flamboyant, self-aggrandizing hustler, who happened to be a billionaire. In 2015, he evolved into something that only Mr. Trump himself could have predicted, and he did so. Envisioning himself as president in an iconic Playboy interview in March 1990, while not his priority, was certainly on the table. Ironically enough, he predicted that it would be on the Democratic ticket.

Vintage Rules for Being a Lady. Created with: OG Collection.
It worked then, and it still works. The rules for being a lady are as much applicable today as they were decades ago. That's not to say, there is not an appeal to the crass biker chicks making their daily appearance on social media GIFs. But there is something grand and sexy about the sophisticated lady that never goes out of style. Maybe it is more fun thinking about taking your clothing off, when you are actually wearing clothing to begin with. Problem is, in a "me" generation obsessed with instant gratification, no one wants to take the time to read the rules. So read the vintage rules for being a lady and get current with what real men are into.

Erotic Art of India. Created with: OG Collection.
Perhaps the most shocking aspect of India (to Westerners, that is) is presented by their “erotic” art. Admittedly one can find such sculptures in the vaults and caverns under European cathedrals, but it is usually crude in execution and generally written off as the errant fancy of some bored sculptor. Anyway, it is considered “immoral” carving. Not in India. The temples flourish such sculptures to the glory of God, recognizing the highly developed consciousness of the connection between pleasure and life—between the natural bents and capabilities of the human being and his religion. God is the creator? Well, how else do mortals come to creation of the human race except by the way that, in the West, is hidden under shame? One school of yoga specifically declares, “Delight is religion.”

Al Goldstein Interview. Created with: OG Collection.
Al Goldstein was a cabdriver, an insurance salesman, an international photographer, and a reporter. He is best known, however, for his time as the executive editor and publisher of Screw, a position he held since he and Jim Buckley created the tabloid in 1968. A blend of explicit sexual material, political commentary, and social satire, Screw mirrored society and the personality of its outspoken publisher.

H.J. Eysenck Interview. Created with: OG Collection.
A psychologist with an international reputation, both as author and as a leader of the behaviorist school, Professor Hans Jurgen Eysenck was director of the Institute of Psychiatry at London's Maudsley hospital. A prolific popularizer, he wrote more than a dozen books expounding aspects of his absorbing subject (Uses and Abuses of Psychology, etc.) and he is particularly remembered for his paperbacks of intelligence tests. To professional colleagues, he is an eloquent repudiator of Freud and an indefatigable researcher into the mechanics of personality.

History of Erotic Inventions. Created with: OG Collection.
A technological age that sends men to the moon and drains gas from the seabeds—among other feats—shows a surprising lack of invention in enriching the intimate life of 20th century man. H. G. Wells, if he were to peruse the catalogues of the Western world's proliferating sex shops, would be appalled at the scant originality revealed. In both hardware (metal and wooden tools of sex) and software (creams and stimulants) the century offers strikingly little that is genuinely new. The only important exception was the electric vibrator, named by the Danish sexologists Sten & Inge Hegeler as the No. 1 must for the erotic couple. The vibrator must be accorded the palm as the 20th century's principal contribution to eroticism.

Gore Vidal Interview. Created with: OG Collection.
When Gore Vidal published his first book, Williwaw, he was just twenty years old and stationed at an army base in Idaho. The book received critical praise as an excellent first effort by a young writer. Three years later, in 1948, Vidal published his second novel, The City and the Pillar, and the terrible swift sword of the literary establishment came crashing down upon him. The book's hero is a red-blooded American boy who, it happens, enjoys sleeping with men as well as women. Critics in that post-war neo-Victorian era were not about to stand idly by and watch American morals be "corrupted" by "perverts." Many critics decided that they would never review another of his books, and Vidal found himself banished from the literary mainstream at the very start of his career.

Helmut Newton Interview. Created with: OG Collection.
Helmut Newton's photographs are characterized by an atmosphere and style which immediately identify his work. German by origin, Australian by necessity, and French by choice, this uncontested master of fashion and beauty photography has provided Vogue, Lui, Playboy, Marie Claire, and Nova with photographs that are celebrations of imagination and spirit, sparkling with eroticism and provocative sensuality. A lover of the demimonde, of the artificial and the superficial, Helmut Newton is uncompromising; He understands himself completely. He is a rare example of that perfect accord between fantasy and photography, that total dedication that is absolutely necessary for creation. In this interview, originally published in the 1976 April/May issue of Penthouse Photo World, Newton clarifies, in abrupt terms, his artistic stance.

Vintage Sex Advice Books. Created with: OG Collection.
Sex advice is a combination of art and science. It has not evolved much over the decades, unless you count learning how to use Tinder, or simple guidance like "don’t trust Ashley Madison." Vintage sex advice books provide a window to the views of authentic sex advice gurus.

History of Sexual Censorship. Created with: OG Collection.
Some might think sexual censorship an antiquated topic, but it is alive and well, manifesting itself in the convoluted and often hypocritical perceptions of bureaucrats from Washington D.C. to Silicon Valley. Do not be fooled by the abundance of sexual content readily available to anybody with a wi-fi connection. Unlike its sibling graphic violence, sex has yet to be given a gaming platform like Xbox or Nintendo, who wrap bloody violence and often deviant imagery around trolls and unicorns. There is no middle ground for sex. An often binary decision to censor sexual content leads to rebellious undertones and social discord. The UK's Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 banned spanking, aggressive whipping (light whipping ok), physical restraint, humiliation (that's not such a bad idea), female ejaculation (aka squirting), and playful strangulation. Bear in mind, nobody said you can't partake of these titillating escapades, you just can't professionally film it and distribute it under your own label. Censorship debates continue to be heard in the halls at the palace of Westminster and the floor of the US Senate. If history has taught us anything, it is it that they will continue to rage for the foreseeable future.
