Operation and Maintenance of Power Plant
How power plants work:
Fresh energy sources such as coal, nuclear heat, or wind are converted into usable power in the form of electricity at power plants. One of the most prevalent forms of the power plant is a thermal power plant, which generates energy by burning fuel and converting it to electricity. Fuel is heated in a conventional thermal power plant to convert water to steam. For generating power, the steam is passed through a turbine that is connected to an electric generator.
