How streaming caused the TV writers strike
The reason behind our current situation is the emergence of streaming which has caused a major disruption in the entertainment industry. This has resulted in a significant change for writers and actors with degrees in the past decade or so. The Golden Age of Television has been brought about by this change. One of the earliest and most iconic streaming shows was House of Cards, which made a huge impact with its fast-paced and visually stunning storytelling, along with its star-studded cast. This evolution has widened the scope of opportunities for writers, particularly for young and diverse voices who previously had to relocate to expensive cities like LA or New York to make a career in the industry. However, the current state of affairs is not the same as before. There is a clear distinction between network shows and streaming shows. Network shows refer to the traditional television channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. that we all grew up with. They follow a season format that typically runs from September to May with 22 episodes. This format is primarily used for procedural shows like Gray's Anatomy or CSI. The September start date was influenced by the release of new car models and the subsequent heavy advertising campaigns.

Just envision if we could drain the oceans, uncovering the enigmas of the ocean bed. And now, we can. With cutting-edge underwater scanning technology, capable of penetrating the deep ocean, and converting precise data into 3D images. This time, with exceptional access to the official inquiry, we can unravel the key riddles of Malaysia Airlines 370. What lessons can be learned from previous aviation disasters? Can Cold War technology extract crucial evidence from the deep ocean? And if the plane is located, what secrets could be concealed in the twisted wreckage? how internet is changing your brain
Some of us can recall the time before the internet, when everything was not connected. However, the idea of living without smartphones, maps, and search engines at our fingertips is now completely foreign to us. Nevertheless, the impact of our increasing dependence on the online world on our relationships, sources of information, and the way we interact with each other is rapidly changing. There are even noticeable effects occurring within our brains. With more and more devices relying on the internet, it is no surprise that worldwide access is continually increasing. In 2016, an estimated 3.5 billion people across the world accessed online services. China had the most users with 721 million, followed by India and then the US with 290 million users. The most commonly used language online is English, followed by Chinese and Spanish. The reliance on the internet is clearly changing across generations, mainly depending on those who had to adapt to new technology or those who grew up with it readily accessible.
