What I Learned Moving to College
I am an only child, and I decided to move halfway across the country for school. By myself. No family anywhere near me. It was a weird experience. I was so happy being on my own, I have a job that I hate, I have to buy groceries, I have a failing love life—oh my, God! I'm a real adult!

'Bless You'
For Christmas, my parents promised me I could get another cat. I could go to the small pet shelter 15 minutes away from the house and I could adopt a kitten. I could pick out whichever one I wanted and she would be my baby for the next year or two before I went to college.
