New Zealand's North Island
I will tread carefully with this one, ensuring I don’t jinx any impending freedoms as dreams are fast becoming reality and my bank account is missing its old friend Bookings.com. I’m ready to enter the Qantas Club lounge, get the dust off the chair and race when boarding is called. Restricted travelling enables an easier decision making process when choosing a location, and I’ve been thinking back on an aesthetically pleasing trip I took a few years ago to the North Island in New Zealand. So dig out the passport, we’re heading abroad.

I’m feeling hopeful and perhaps a little optimistic. The dreams of travel are starting to simmer and as the weather starts to warm up, my dreams are hopefully starting to not appear as some kind of foreign hobby from the past.

When asked by her mother as a child what she wanted at a civil rights march in Oakland, she responded “fweedom”. For Kamala Harris, “it’s about freedom, it’s about equality, it’s about dignity”. As the drama continues to sweep across the United States and as Joe Biden emerged as the new President, there seems to be a greater light shone on the Vice President-elect.

Talley Spills the Tea
Deep down, we all love to indulge in the secrets and dramas of the affluent. Particularly when it is amongst fashion’s most fabulous, as disclosed in Andre Leon Talley’s new bedtime read, “The Chiffon Trenches: A Memoir”. Unfortunately we have to wait until September (when we most likely will be busy catching up socialising), however Talley has ever so kindly let slip a few tales.
