An earthquake of 3.2 magnitude occurred early Tuesday afternoon on the coast of Ventura County. The quake struck at 1:24 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey, with an epicenter located just offshore of Point Mugu at a depth of 6.6 miles. Preliminary data suggests that the quake may have been felt in Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and certain areas of Los Angeles County, but no reports of damage or injuries have been registered.
