A moment passes, Like how a river flows. It is born, it is nourished, it manifests itself in our life And, through remembrance,
At times of trouble, I do not hold back. Whenever a fear comes in, An attack, From my head, Is propelled forward,
This poem is open, Just like my heart was, once or twice In this life. I never gave it much thought, Never held any grief or strife.
I feel that I've told this story before. Although, when I tell it, I seem to want to hear it even more. I'm more interested in hearing how it sounds,
I started to write a long time ago, Confined in words and phrases which sowed, My thoughts, my expressions, the ways in which I saw the world.
For many days, I walked along the same path. In many ways, I found ways to keep track, Of conversations, Of things left behind.
Look at my withering flower grow, Look at blossom, look at it show Its radiant colours, its light, its height. How sad to see, but what a delight.
You are a rock, They are the sea. You are the foundation of houses and bridges, They are the creators of storms and ditches.
Smelling like sunshine, Tasting like rain, Go to the garden, The tomatoes have ripened again. Unravel the vine, And reveal the fruit,
If I don't hear the voice of the songbird, Before receiving a boon of hope, My soul starts to ask: When to feel? How to cope?
I don't really know who's been listening, Or who's dared to speak. Yet, something inside me awakes, Something so wild yet so meek.
