I've been a writer, artist and cook for as far back as I can remember. My dad owned a restaurant at some point and was a race car driver. Grandad owned a restaurant, but in Japan. Mom was a seamstress. We can choose how we define ourselves.

Confession
Pull the thread, they said. We all started out by joining Facebook, now social media management is an all day affair. Some companies have tried to create software that would make posting to more than one site easier, but you lose the personal touch. Besides, Pinterest and Snapchat aren’t included. Lessons Learned
1. Unwavering patience Businesses take time to build and promote. Writing out one sentence that describes your main mission statement and one sentence describing what you’re going to do every day to promote your business is vital. Then do that every day without missing a beat. Keep a penny jar that you drop a penny into each day you do this and see your work manifest your audience. And remember, keep it simple. Just. One. Sentence. Each.
