Feeling Grateful in Trying Times
Are you struggling to feel thankful in these trying times? Have you lost your sense of wonder about the world and feel less grateful than usual? With all the craziness of the past few months - COVID-19, elections, crime, just an overall sense of negative energy in the world – it’s not surprising your sense of gratitude has become low or even empty. Being grateful for what one has seems to be a simple task, but surprisingly, for many people, it is not, especially now. With the hustle and bustle of daily life, the development of new gadgets and gizmos (that are supposed to make our lives easier, but they sure seem to complicate them, don’t they?), it can be hard to stay grounded and appreciate the positive things that are a part of your life in the here and now. Here are some tips for increasing (or developing) a sense of gratitude.
