What Rights Are Protected Under Civil Rights Laws?
Introduction: Civil rights rules are key for protecting people from unfair action and making sure everybody is treated in the same way. These rules protect basic rights like the freedom to speak, practice religion, and collect together, as well as the right to vote and use public services. They, too, aid in discontinuing discrimination centred on race, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation in jobs, housing, and public spaces. Suppose somebody wants assistance or needs to report discrimination. In that case, the Colorado Civil Rights Division is there to help and protect these rights in the state.
