Under The Boot Of Heroes
2050. The ruins of Wrocław were hauntingly quiet on the first morning of June. Broken buildings, shattered churches and ruined neighbourhoods as far as the eye could see. This city was once home to such vibrant culture and life. Now, just rubble and ruin, like many other cities throughout the world. Lyon, Birmingham, Jaipur, Philadelphia, and so many more lay dead, destroyed, made an example of when the True Gods rose to power in 2035. Overlord, their leader, had descended upon these cities, using his raw, god-like power to batter humanity into submission. For fifteen years the world has been under the boot of Superheroes.

Battle for the Galaxy
Hobbies. Most people have one. The hardest part of joining a community is just that, joining. It can be a little intimidating on your own. Walking past the shop, always gazing in, watching people paint together, play together and laugh together. I always wondered how these people got involved, did they know each other? Is there a way for like minded people to meet and play the game? I just didn’t know. That was until I became friends with someone deep into the hobby. On more than one occasion he would show me his models and current projects. Over a few beers he would tell me all the stories and the lore that gave the game depth, that gave it life. And to tell you the truth, I fell in love. The intricate stories of multiple authors working together, the community that was always there to help either with game play rules or just painting tips. It seemed like it was my cup of tea. So I decided to jump head-first into the world of table top gaming. I bought my first army starter kit and again, I fell in love. Putting the models together, painting them, playing the game, everything.

The Gods Have Fallen
Ragnarök had begun, the end time, the Apocalypse. The impending doom had been hanging over Midgard for some time now. A creeping darkness, from deep in a far off nether realm had laid siege to Asgard. The entity had already destroyed seven of the nine realms, killing billions and damaging Yggdrasil, the mighty World Tree. Odin was desperate, the warriors of Valhalla and his Valkyries were decimated and his fellow Aesir were being slaughtered. In this time of anguish, Odin had called for help from the other gods that protected this world. Zeus and his Olympians, the Shinto gods and the old gods of Egypt. None could stand against the otherworldly entity, each one would fall in time.

The Soldier in the Snow
The sting of winter was relentless, as it always was in the Northern Islands. The rest of the world only ever had three months of bitter winter, but the people of these islands had to endure a frozen wasteland for more than ten, painful months. Even in the last remaining couple of months there was still knee-deep snow.
