Nature
Nature Where do I go when I want to lose control? Where do I breathe when all fails me? Nature is my best friend, though we disagree there is safety in nature. When I hike in the hills or mountains, when I swim in the river or lakes I am at peace. If I sit on a beach or near trees my mind is at ease. My only problem is my body can't keep up. I've fell in quicksand, tumbled down hills, was stuck between rocks, almost drowned in a current, fell into frozen water, and the list goes on.

Kandy
Sweets were most children and teenagers favorite to eat. No matter the season or time of day in Glow Valle young folks walked around town with something sweet in their mouth, hands or lunch pales. Hutch was no different; his beloved choice was chocolate cake. Like many minors in Glow Valle he visited Kandy Gal on a regular basis.

The Letter
Dear Children, We live, we die, and the world continues to change with or without us. In 2135 forty years after the wreckage of dolphin pox, poverty hadn’t improved and barely one thousand people survived. The rebuild of humanity involved a reliance on accessories. Everyone needed five pieces in order to function. Earrings for hearing, a hand bracelet for touching, a heart shaped locket for speaking, an ankle bracelet for moving and a nose ring for seeing. Of the survivors some became creatures of the terrain “soil mongers”. Beast that catered to destruction and lived in the ground only to kill anyone who left Akala. People who couldn’t afford accessories lived miserably in one section of Akala and once they lost all senses, they were sacrificed to the soil mongers. Everyone believed no one could live outside of Akala.
