The Sahalo Forest
Andrew’s hands were fidgeting with the papers sprawled out in front of him, but his mind was elsewhere—on those eyes. There were so many things he was fighting for, but those eyes pierced his through his memory and stayed at the forefront of his mind. An orange glow that reflected the fading sun, but at the time, it seemed like so much more.

If google maps was accurate, Lake Winnasaw was the most desolate lake in North America, being over thirty miles away from the nearest road. Pear Farm
As he got older, Pedro realized that every day on Gopez Farm was pretty much the same. It had been like that when he was younger, but he didn't mind it; he actually preferred it that way. There was a lot to love growing up after all; playing with the animals, exploring the woods, and the occasional hunting trips with grandpa. When you were happy, every day being the same wasn't such a bad thing.

A Bull's Purpose.
The box opened and light burst into his room for the first time in forever. If he could move his legs, he would have used them to shade his eyes. After they adjusted, he saw a woman's face. She was smiling and although it had been a while, he recognized her. There were more lines on her face and her hair looked different, but he would always remember Angela's eyes; she had come back for him.

Finding her Again.
James dawdled through the meadow trying to find the right ones. To anyone else, the marigold flowers around him would have looked fairly similar, but he needed them to be perfect. He bent towards a group on his right and plucked a dozen flowers with his hand, lifting them up to his face, and taking a deep breath in through his nose.

A spot with a view.
It would be hard to overstate the tranquility of the place before him. With his legs stretched out far, his feet rested in the middle of the horizon, connecting the pristine lake to the base of the mountains that twisted and turned into the clouds, further than his eyes could see. The tree at his back provided much needed shade to him and the frogs resting by the lily pads where the base of his hill met the lake.

The following is a story of two brave warriors who fought valiantly to defend their queen in her time of need. As he did every day, Steve roamed the area with vigilance. It was barely noon, but he had already completed a dozen probes without incident. Even so, it wouldn't catch him off guard. If anything, it made him extra alert; trouble was bound to come at any moment. As he scanned the field ahead of him, he noticed Arthur buzzing towards him.

Murder in Paris.
Mr. Parvati stepped out into the brisk morning air. A man of cleanliness and order, he was surprised to see his tie was off center. Although he didn’t have anywhere to go, it still caused him stress. He straightened it and walked towards the lamppost, grabbing five pieces of mail and twisting back towards his front door, waiting until he was parallel with his walkway to step forward.
