The West Is Best: Twitter Reacts to 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Trailer
The follow-up to Rockstar's critically wild west epic, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been a long time coming. Seriously, the original game was released in 2010 which may not necessarily seem like such a big deal, but in the scope of gaming eight years is a long time to wait.

Grease The Gears: 'Gears Of War' Movie Adaptation To Be Penned By Writer of 'Avatar 2' & 'Armageddon'
Okay, okay let's take a moment to breathe and remember that even though we've faced decades of shoddy video game film adaptations things are bound to get better. In nearly every video game that we've ever played, the hero eventually saves the day or escapes from the pit of despair, torture, zombies, mythical creatures only to return in the sequel.

Is FOX's Gotham The Comic Book TV Series We Deserve?
I've wanted to watch Gotham for a while but I had quite a few mixed feelings about the show in general. I understood the premise, but I wasn't sure if it could actually achieve something as grandiose as what I've seen in other comic book based ventures ...ahem Daredevil. Regardless of my emotional hesitation, I tried and tried to sit down and watch Gotham, but I could never get going on it and eventually my DVR waited too long and my episodes vanished, only to make me believe that I would never be able to watch Gotham.

'Metal Gear Solid' Could Break the Video Game Film Curse With This Marvel Actor As Solid Snake
It's a common phrase in the gaming world — 'the video game movie curse' — because it seems as though every time a studio sets out to develop a major film based on a video game, it winds up being a disaster. Going all the way back to the early '90s with Super Mario Bros. there have only been a handful of video game adaptations that have exceeded mediocre reviews and reception, most of which have been considered critical and commercial flops over the last 30 years.

Why 'Destiny 2' Is The Fresh Start Bungie Needs To Stay Relevant
The big gameplay reveal for Destiny 2 dropped last week and it was anything but a letdown, proving a defining moment for Bungie and signifying the start of a great year going forward for the FPS franchise. After all the issues, bugs and complaints with the first game in the series, Destiny was a fairly divisive game within the community. Some players loved it, some were indifferent, others found it abhorrent. I was somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed it on day one, but then once it became overpopulated and the raid/strike/Crucible grinds began, that's when I faded out because I'm very much a solo player.

The Marvel Universe Is About To Get Even Bigger In September With 'Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite'
We all know that the Marvel Universe is already incredibly massive. There's really no denying that fact, considering that we've spent millions upon millions of dollars watching movies and television shows, buying comics and collectables. Yet, even though the video game universe hasn't really gotten there yet in terms of expanding the Marvel Universe, this September we're in store for the craziest expanse yet.

Extra Credit Day 6 Video Game Challenge: If Only I Wouldn't Have Played THAT Game
Now, before i get into this post let me say this: I love video games, all sorts of video games. I technically prefer role-playing games or first person shooters, but I'm not against trying new games when I have the opportunity. Yet there have been a few games that I have played that have been insanely popular, yet I wound up thinking to myself:

The Star Wars universe has given rise to one of the most diverse and expansive collections of books, comics, movies and video games. Day 4 Video Game Challenge: Gotta Play It Again... And Again... And Again
Okay, so it pains me to a point to admit this, but I am a Pokémon junky. I LOVE Pokémon. Yes, I said that in the present tense. I love them now, I have loved them since 1996 with the first games release and I will love them as long as they keep making new games. I may even have to travel a lot more once Pokémon Go is released (Seriously?! I can actually catch Pokémon at home, at work and everywhere I go... Can we say awesome!!)
