The voice had been etched into my memory like a scar, as it was unlike anything I had ever heard before. It was low and threatening, like a growl from purgatory. The words "get out" had been yelled so loudly that they seemed to reverberate throughout the home. The air around me had altered, and the atmosphere had thickened and oppressive, suffocating me with its malevolence, as if the entity itself had materialized in the room.
