Illustrating Democracy's Oppression
There are two schools that operate 1,000 miles away from each other. One is on the east, the other on the west. Both of these schools do well for their respective areas. The various success rates — grades, graduations, sports, and more — are all quite high. The parents sending their kids to each of these schools are pleased, and, for the most part, the students — as much as students can be — are generally happy with the institutions in which they learn.

A King and His People
At a time long ago — or long ahead — there stood a man on a ridge high above. The man on the ridge stood alone, but below him were thousands of people. These people were screaming and chanting and singing, proclaiming out the name of the man standing on the ridge. For this man had just become the new king, placed upon the throne by the thousands cheering below him.

The Way Through
They’re overused cliches at this point, the ones like “simple is best,” and “less is more.” But despite their cliche’d status and overuse, I still find these sorts of principles to be absolutely true for my life. However, I’ve repeatedly made a mistake when it comes to figuring out how to apply such a framework to my own organizational philosophy.

Aimlessly Meaningful
Perhaps this is overly simplistic to say, but there are two particular kinds of people in this world: those who like to drive around in their car completely aimlessly, thinking, perhaps listening to music while doing so. And those who think people who do this are weird.

Anticipation and Anxiety
Anticipation is often hard on the soul. It creates within us an anxiety over decisions we do not have direct control over and yet the outcomes of those decisions can have major impacts on our lives. Consider when you've applied and interviewed for a new job or promotion and that time in between the presentation of ourselves and the ultimate decision. We have to sit and we have to wait; we're having to wait to hear what our future holds and there's no longer anything we can do about it.

Stop looking for a leader; be one
Guidance is among the strongest of immaterial desires. We want to be inspired. We want to be motivated. And so many times, we look to other people as being the main source behind us achieving these desires. We want someone to look up to; someone who we can aspire to be like. Someone to lead us.

Student Loan Forgiveness Increases the Class Divide
Sit back and imagine, for a time, making the choice of choosing either not to attend college or of dropping out. Contrary to what most people have come to believe, these can often be responsible choices. And as you imagine these scenarios, let’s assume you’re not dropping out or flat-out not attending because you’re more comfortable playing video games in your parents basement, but you’re doing so because it’s what’s best for you.

Your Future Dilemma
When time reaches the future you really only have one way of knowing it’s the future, and that’s through the realization that things are no longer like they were in the past. But even then, this sort of realization is almost always gradual and never sudden. Waking up and becoming aware that the world has gone completely crazy and is upside down, no longer resembling anything close to what it once was, isn’t going to happen to you in a mere night leading to morning. It’ll be many nights and mornings and days that will ultimately lead you to the revelation that the future is now the present and that a new future now lies ahead.
