Bio
I am a person who really likes to read and write and to share what I learned with all my education. My page will mainly be book reviews and critiques of old and new books that I have read and will read. There will also be other bits, too.

Leviticus 1
I have started reading Leviticus in the NIV Bible and I believe that in Chapter Six that these are possible ways for one to punished today in the criminal justice system, maybe. Maybe criminals and all who commit a crime should provide a Guilt offering of the crime(s) committed and to show atonement one must return what was stolen and provide some sort of restitution of the same or another proper value. Even if one sees as an accomplice that one should also speak up for, they are just as responsible, but depending on the punishment could be less. Pray.

Snicket #10
'The Slippery Slope' a Snicket novel of the Baudelaire's troublesome times is one where the siblings meet someone that they thought was dead while they are also separated from Sunny who found out quite a bit about herself in this edition of their story. There are many downs and a few ups in this story this for they meet some old 'friends' in this one as well. Violet and Klaus are also learning more about each other as well. Although Count Olaf and Esme are still the same, but some of their group seem to be changing just a bit.

A Winter Wish
Ah, to be in the North with snow, snow, snow and more snow. I am definitely a Winter type person. I am a person that likes shoveling snow and scraping car windows as long as it is not really thick ice. I am a person that likes making snow angels, snowmen, snowballs and snow forts. Also, making tracks in the snow following various animal tracks and watching the animals frolic all around. Then again, I also like hot chocolate with marshmallows or tea or even a glass of wine on a cold snowy night with a good book to read.

Exodus 6
Finishing up with the Book of Exodus to me is really about building the church and all that goes into the physical building as well as furnishing right down to the vestments that the 'priest' wears even to this day. All of this is down for to the Glory of The Lord. The other part before the building was Moses coming down and seeing 'the Golden Calf' his people have made for he was gone so long and the punishment they all received till finally seeing the wrong they did and now really see the Glory of the Lord. Pray.

Exodus 5
The Book of Exodus could be used by counselors and social workers to use in issues dealing with protection of property as well as teaching social responsibility. In the social responsibility area, it could teach how to be socially diverse and competent with other cultures as well as dealing with dealing with your neighbors to try and solve various troubles. In dealing with property if one does wrong there must be some form of retribution shown and given some way. Justice will be upheld and hopefully today mercy will also be shown to whomever needs. Let my people go now.

Exodus 4
As Exodus continues there is a section that could be used by counselors and social workers today. These sections speak of personal injuries and attacks on anyone and the punishments that should be done as in dealing with all kinds of abuse to women and children (born and unborn) and the restitution that should be brought against the perpetrator. It also goes into how one can protect their property. Before all these can occur the people then and today must adhere to 'The Ten Commandments' we should all follow. It can be hard to do it seems, just follow them.

Exodus 3
After Pharoh let the slaves go, but did he really, he chased after them, but boy are they all in for a big surprise. This is when Moses is taking them into the Wilderness for the slaves to become a tribe and to follow and listen to God. God gives them manna and quail so that they will not die, but after so long the people become dissatisfied and they do other odd things and have other ideas like returning to Egypt. The people start to believe but in the wrong way as with the golden calf, do they learn.

Exodus 2
In the Book of Exodus there are several plagues put upon the Earth, which are locusts, flies, gnats, blood, frogs, hail and fire. Speaking of today some would think that with tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, fires of all kinds, and blizzards for these could seem like plagues upon the Earth. Did Pharoh learn from his mistakes, I believe he did when his firstborn son died but has the people of today learned from the tragedies and storms that are inflicted somehow. Some do and some don't. The theme of Exodus is Let my people go and learn for living with God.

Exodus
In hoping that readers have liked my interpretations of some Genesis stories I am going to write some of my interpretations of the Book of Exodus and the life of Moses from childhood to adulthood. If I remember this is the book of the that the movie 'The Ten Commandments' was based on long ago. "Let my people, go! wasn't that a quote the movie used so long ago. I am just starting Exodus, and the baby Moses was just found in the reeds in the river Nile and given to the Pharoh's daughter to care for even though wrong.

Out of Egypt
To me my interpretation to the rest of the Book of Genesis is one of bargaining and making deals and of begating and making sure that family stays put. There were promises made and kept and there were also promises that weren't kept. Joesph and his wife as well as his sons and daughters had decisions to make on how they should live their lives, and did they make the right ones for now as we look to the Nation of Israel as a World nation do you suppose that the original inhabitants are thinking now of what they created?
