What does a year as a writer look like?
As a creator time seems more like a construct than to the average person. We string together different time periods, different limits of realities, like it’s a common thing among our busy schedules. How could it feel like a 200th entry, when we’ve written thousands in our head?

Moonless Night
I walked quietly past a man in overalls and a girl dressed in a more elegant gown than mine; they paid no mind to me as they spit over the vessel's side. The man's saliva was thrown into the ocean, while I imagined the woman's half attempt to follow dribbling down the "T" painted on the ship. I hoped one day, I would be as carefree as they were.

Eddie’s
It’s so easy to get caught up in your surroundings during the fall living on the west coast. The air continuously smells of coffee and aroma spices that add to the ambiance of the leaves and changing colors. Every experience in Ashland, Oregon during this time feels romanticized based on your surroundings as the sun sets and rises on endless fields and mountains around our humble communities.

Shark cove
I had been on the beautiful island of Oahu almost 2 months and had stood up on a surfboard maybe a handful of times. I had assumed after watching Lilo and Stitch that I'd be a natural, but it was just like everything else in life. Practice was the only way to perfect.
